Results

The effectiveness of the Delphi program can be seen in the results obtained with students. Our Elementary School students take the California Achievement Tests (CAT) annually, regularly scoring at least one grade level ahead of age and quite often two and three grade levels ahead. But the results that mean the most to us can be found in the attitudes and behavior of our students, as well as in the enthusiasm and support from our parents. We invite you to find out for yourself what our students and their parents say they have gained from the Elementary School program.

Success Stories from Parents

"My son is doing so well in Form 3. At first it was rough for him because he was used to being the 'big fish' in Form 2. But he worked through that barrier.

"I have seen his reading, handwriting and spelling improve in such a short period of time. I hear remarks from him in the mornings such as, ‘Yea! I get to go to school and do math!’ or driving by the school he says, ‘I love Delphi! it makes my heart soar.'

"Children spend so much of their beginning years in school, I’m glad my son is happy. I know he will grow up to be successful because of the wonderful education he is receiving at Delphi."
B.M., parent

"There are a number of Delphi Academies around the United States, though only one is in Clearwater, Florida, and there are a lot of private schools in Florida though only one Delphi Academy. At first glance, this sentence may seem whimsical, but after you take a good look around a whole new meaning starts to emerge.

"Delphi is more than a well-run private school. Delphi is unique in that is prepares the students for a life filled with learning. In addition to the traditional subjects such as phonics, math, reading, writing and such, Delphi also gives each student life-long tools such as learning how to learn, learning how to communicate and learning how to be a good citizen.

"Before we chose to send our children to Delphi, we had looked and tried a number of other schools. We literally moved to other states seeking a quality education for our kids. For us, the quality of education they receive is one of the most important gifts we can give them. A great education means maximizing opportunities as one grows up. A great education means having the knowledge that all subjects can be learned when studied properly. A great education means no limits later in life.

"When we really looked at all the things we could give our children, a lifetime of opportunities was worth any number of fancy vacations, fancy clothes and fancy cars. That’s the decision that we faced. Delphi is and has been our answer.

"We encourage you to take a look at Delphi Academy and see if you don’t agree."
M.&M.R., parents

"I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the improvisation performance of the Delphi Players. I enjoyed the fact that the group was showing a fun, stressless, enjoyable and pleasurable Delphi. I felt proud to be part of this group and most of all for my son to be part of the Delphi Players. The drama teacher did a fabulous job, the way she performed, the way she was with the kids, etc. My pride soared when I realized what a great example the group was that day. Not only for the parents and other kids of Delphi, but for the community at large."
I.C., Parent

"Just a note to tell you how pleased we are with your school, what it stands for, and the results as seen through our granddaughter."
S. W., Grandparent
